Meliá Las Dunas receives Marque of Excellence

Meliá Las Dunas Hotel is the new recipient of the Marque of Excellence Award- 2008, a distinction accorded annually by leading British tour operator Thomas Cook. The award expresses the view of clients of this major company who stayed in the Meliá Las Dunas hotel, regarding its high quality accommodation and service standards, as affirmed in the accreditation certificate signed by Thomas Cook Managing Director, Manny Fontenla-Novoa.
"By expressing the view of such a demanding sector of the market represented by Thomas Cook, this award dignifies the efforts of its staff who place the excellence of their service above all else", affirmed Francisco Silva, General Manager of Meliá Las Dunas.
Last year, Thomas Cook was the hotels major tourist market, especially among couples who chose Cuba as the destination for their wedding.
