Paradisus Rio de Oro receives two TUI awards

TUI UK accorded its Gold Medal and Travelife Gold awards to Paradisus Rio de Oro Resort & Spa, a superb Five Star Plus Ultra All Inclusive hotel with 354 rooms, in recognition of the property's excellent service and outstanding environmental management.
The Gold Medal Award was granted based on the exceptional results attained by Paradisus Rio de Oro during 2009 with regards to TUI customer satisfaction.
"Thanks to professionalism and dedication of workers at Paradisus Rio de Oro, guests were able to "feel special" and "enjoy their dream vacation", noted the largest European tour operator in the communiqué announcing the prize.
TUI recognized Paradisus Rio de Oro's outstanding ecological management with its prestigious Travelife Gold Award, granted to hotels that excel for their environmental management practices and community support.
TUI also indicated in the communiqué, the growing impact of environmental activities on the decisions of customers. Last year the hotel was granted the Silver Travelife Award for its active promotion of the quality of the environment and that of neighboring communities. Conceived only for adults 18 years and over, Paradisus Rio de Oro is an eco-resort located in the heart of the Bahía de Naranjo Natural Park, on the northern coast of Holguin, some 800 km east of Havana.
