DIA 1. Monday, June 2, 2008 – Welcome..

• 10:00: Activity in the hotel lobby. Information will be offered about the activities programmed for each day: making new friends and tour of the hotel and the surrounding areas.


• 11:00: Mr. and Miss Singles Archery practice for the purpose of introducing the participants who will be interacting with you throughout the week. What is your name? Where are you from? Where do you work? What do you like? What don’t you like? Brief information about how the week has been organized, including a “Secret Admirer” mailbox.


• 11:30: Aqua gym –Mr. and Miss Singles.


• 12:00: Meliá Games.


• 12:30: Dancing at the beach.


• 13:00: Luncheon.


• 14:00: Special Mr. and Miss Singles Comedy Show organized by members of our recreation team.


• 15:00: At the beach: Spanish lessons: talking with your new friends. The characteristics of the Spanish spoken in Latin America and explanation of the different meaning of a same word or phrase in parts of the continent and in Spain. The best phrase of the day will receive a prize.


• 15:30: Game of crocket.


• 16:00: Cuban percussion lessons.


• 16:30: Movie Quiz.


• 17:00: Sol Meliá dances.


• 19:00: Special Welcome Cocktail at the Jazz Café bar.


• 21:00: Advanced Salsa dancing lessons in the hotel theatre.


• 22:00: Disco Show. Ritmo de la noche.


• 23:00: Decades Fiesta. Clients are requested to dress-up as people did during his/her favorite decade. The best disguises will receive a prize for originality, representation of the spirit of the decade and sensuality. In each case, the best dressed man and woman will receive a prize.

• 15:00: Treasure hunt following the trail of clues left by the teams throughout the hotel.


• 16:30: Miss Bikini & Mr. Macho.


• 17:00: Sol Meliá dancing: Mambo and cha-cha.


• 21:00: Advanced Salsa dancing lessons.


• 22:00: Latin Show.


• 23:30: Fiesta La Bodeguita; selection of the best Mr. and Miss Singles couple.

DAY 3. Wednesday, June 4, 2008

• 10:00: Cuba Day. From breakfast throughout the rest of the day, live Cuban music, crafts fair, books and souvenirs. Traditional Cuban beach party at noon with rum, coffee served with sugarcane juice, roast pork, corn fritters, fresh fruits, etc.


• 10:30: Afro-Cuban gymnastics.


• 11:00: Cuban morning (Cuban tropical juices for Singles).


• 12:00: Meliá Cuban games.


• 12:30: Traditional Cuban country celebration.


• 13:00: Lunch.


• 15:00: Spanish lessons "Cuban Style ". A renowned Cuban professor or artistic personality from Matanzas province will be invited to talk about the Spanish spoken in Cuba.


• 16:30: Cuban Quiz.


• 17:00: Cuban Carnival.


• 19:00: Cuban cocktails.


• 21:00: Advanced Salsa dancing lessons.
